What Java Do I Need?

You must have a copy of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) on your system to run JavaFX applications and applets. To develop JavaFX applications and applets, you need the Java Development Kit, which includes the JRE.

Build rich internet applications (RIAs) with the JavaFX family of products. It includes the tools and platform SDK for developers, web developers, and designers to create dynamic applications for the next generation of web delivered content.
