Nurikabe is a cross platform puzzle game of mental development - kind of like a number crossword!

NOTE: the original game was developed on a Java 7 platform and just wouldn't work on Software Santa's Old Macintosh  :( :'(
But the developer Alán made, and released on 2012-10-02, a Java 6 compatible version that DOES work for Software Santa!
Muchas Gracias Alán!  8) :bowing: :winner: :beating:

Description

Nurikabe is a game of mental development, which consists of a board where you have to put "buildings" and "streets" so that all the "streets" are reported, and the "buildings" does not come together. The "buildings" are defined by a number indicating the number of squares occupied by the "building" on the board. The application shall propose such boards, to assist the player to solve, explain step by step how to solve it and make the resolution of the board.

(You need Java 7 for this game to work properly)

Works for Linux
or Windows
or on Mac OS X 10.7 Mac OS X 10.6 or Later.

Nurikabe is one type of Number Crossword that doesn't use Math ... and Kakuro is a different type of 'Number Crossword' that requires addition skills!
