Description TAudioConverter is a free, multithreaded audio converter and extractor created by Okan Özcan, the developer of TEncoder Video Converter. This application is able to convert multiple audio formats. From all popular audio formats to MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, AAC, AC3, OPUS, MPC, APE, TTA, TAK etc. It is also capable to extract audio streams from video files and encode them (it can do this with video files that have more than one audio stream) using up to 16 simultaneous processes that will deliver a fast encoding time and even a CD ripper. TAudioConverter use several other 3rd party tools such as FFMpeg, QAAC, MediaInfo, FLAC, OpusEnc, MAC, TTA, WMAEncoder, WavPack and others. The program is available in two flavors: as an installer (setup) file and also as a portable version.
Features
- multithreaded (up to 16 simultaneous processes for fast encoding)
- CD ripper
- encode to many formats: AAC, FLAC, WAV, WMA, AC3 etc.
- you can copu embedded artwork to output

TAudioConverter Review There isn't much to say about TAudioConverter. For those who need to convert their files from one audio format to another, this application will do the job. There's no special skill required.
Just open the program, drag the file(s) that you want, choose desired method and conversion type, select the output folder and hit the "Start" button. It's that simple.I was able to convert a regular mp3 file to Ogg (OggEnc2) in several seconds. Being a multi-threaded audio converter and extractor it works with multiple files, however the amount of time will also increase.
The interface is similar with the one used by TEncoder Video Converter and this program is even easier to use. Professional users can also use advanced settings such as filters, tweak the settings and customize other advanced features. Finally, this is another free, open source application developed by the same author that created TEncoder so if you find it useful, please consider a donation for his work.
Sigma957 October 8, 2014          It cannot convert files over 2 hours in length. So if you used FRAPs to capture a long gameplay session with 7.1 channels of sound, TAudio Converter will only do half the length and just stop converting  without warning. Very frustrating.      Onurtag August 6, 2014          Use portable version if the 3rd party installations bother you                         Anthon July 25, 2014          I have used this for a while. On the latest install I declined all the advert ware but still ended up with LiveSupport and Optimizer Pro installed. Then Optimizer Pro launched before I could uninstall it. I'll find another program from now on...
