Bricksmith is virtual 3D Lego modeling for Mac OS X 10.3 or Later:

OK, Now What is This?

You Can Create Pictures of Plans: Is it a GRAPHICS Based Tool?

You can Layout your Cubicle Farm before you sardine-can real people into it: It's a Productivity/Office Tool!?

A 3D Modeler? A TOY? (Software Santa would Guess it's a TOY but some serious looking adults are 'playing' with it and making some Serious Looking models)

Product Description:
Bricksmith allows you to make virtual Lego models and admire them in all three dimensions. It's an especially useful tool for creating instructions for one's Lego creations.

Bricksmith offers thousands of parts and dozens of colors. You'll have the ability to create steps and submodels for intricate creations.

This program is based on LDraw, a fan effort to model Lego bricks in 3D. Converters are available to feed your creations into a 3D raytracer for beautiful renderings.

Bricksmith allows you to create virtual instructions for your Lego creations on your Mac. The magic is based on the LDraw library, a collection of 3D models of Lego building blocks created by enthusiasts from around the world. With Bricksmith, you never have to worry about running out of parts!

Bricksmith's raison d'être is to wed Lego building with the ravishing beauty of a genuine Macintosh interface—a union which has hitherto been lacking. In addition, Bricksmith offers:

    * a fast, comprehensive part browser provides access to thousands of parts
    * a full Lego color palette at your disposal
    * support for steps and submodels
    * undo, cut, copy, and paste
    * drag-and-drop reordering of file contents
    * multiple viewports
    * a Minifigure Generator

Product Requirements:

    * Mac OS X 10.3 or later

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

    * Mac OS X 10.3
    * Mac OS X 10.3.9
