Game instructions - Butt and President, the Democracy Game

Number of Players
Oasch is a card game for 4 to 8 players.

Aim of the game
The aim of the game is to lose all of your own cards that you have got at the beginning of a round as soon as possible. As sooner you lose your cards the more points you will gain - the last player gets no points. The player with the highest score is the new president, the one who got nothing is the butt. How many points the several positions will gain depends on the number of players.

Course of the game
The game is played clockwise!

If no cards are in the middle, the player who's turn is at the moment is allowed to play as many cards as he wants as long as they have the same value (wildcards can be used at will). But if there are already cards played out by another player, the exact number of cards as there lie in the middle have to be played. The value of these cards have to be higher.

It's allowed to skip playing cards - also if playing out cards would be possible. If so, you cannot play until a new turn starts. A new turn starts if someone plays out the highest possible cards (asses or only wildcards) or nobody can't play out.

At the beginning of every round (except the first one) the player who got no points at the last round has to hand his best two cards over to the player who reached the highest score. This player will leave his two worst cards therefore. In the same way the last but one exchanges one card with the second.

The player who starts a game is determined by random.
