Raven Studio is a Cross Platform image editing and animation suite for JAVA

Java Web Start Installer: https://raven.java.net/apps/studio/RavenStudio.jnlp
(AVG VirusGuard prevents Webstart from running properly. If you're using AVG and finding that your download stops part way through, you may want to install the stand-alone version instead.)

Raven Studio

This is the home of Raven Studio, an image editing and animation suite.

You can run Raven Studio from its webstart page.

Things are still pretty rough right now. I am in the process of uploading everything and making sure it's running properly. Check back frequently to see any changes.

You can browse the source code on the project page.

Status
Current Version <pre-release>

I am currently in the process of migrating Raven from a previous repository on another server and making lots of little bug fixes to make it ready for presentation.

The current version of Raven is <pre-release>. That's right, it doesn't even have a version yet. When it's all ready to go, I'll launch it with its first version number.

At the moment, there is a lot of heavy lifting going on behind the scenes, with features being upgraded. When the below list is complete, I'll formally make a release, hopefully before spring 2012:

Finish replacing Java2D with OpenGL ES 2.0
    Fix bugs in path/mesh geometry
Update file format to handle subprojects
    Finish node editor view
Adapt SWF importer to new code
    Finish SVG importer

Downloads
Run with webstart

You can run Raven Studio directly from this website from the Webstart page. This is the recommended way, since if you use webstart you will always be running the most up-to-date version of Raven Studio.

Stand alone installer
If you want to have a standalone installer for Windows and Linux (yes, both systems use the same installer), you can get it here.

Source code
Source code can be downloaded from the source repository.

Compiled Jar files
Compiled binaries are available in the apps directory.
