Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder v2.0 Beta 2½

Standard Hooplah
The Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder is a freeware utility that retrieves your Product Key (cd key) used to install windows from your registry. It has the options to copy the key to clipboard, save it to a text file, or print it for safekeeping. It works on Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Windows Vista, Office XP, Office 2003, and Office 2007.

What's been added in Beta 2½?
# Change Windows registration information
# Change Windows Key in Windows 95, 98, ME

What's been added in Beta 2?
# Save option now defaults to the computer name.
# /save now has an option argument for saving to a particular directory. keyfinder /save c:\ /close (trailing slash is essential!)
# Now correctly detects XP Home/Professional edition. I'm not sure how this will react on 2000 or 2003.
# Change Windows key option should be available for Windows XP & 2003. May work on 2000... I dunno. I haven't tried. I'm still using Microsoft provided scripts. Use at your own risk.

What's New in 2.0?
# As you can probably tell from the screenshot, version 2.0 is a complete rewrite.
# Office 2007 & Windows Vista support!
# An optional config file - this functionality lets you pull a key stored in the registry for any software. A sample config file is included in the zip and can be seen here: keyfinder.cfg
# Command line options - /save will automatically save a file (outputs to keyfinder.txt in same directory as the executable). /close will automatically close the program.
# Load Hive option - allows you to load the registry hive of another Windows installation. To use, put the hard drive in a working machine (must also be Windows 2000,XP or Vista) or use Windows PE (not tested, should work) and click Load Hive. Then point it to the dead Windows install. If you're using Windows Vista, Administrator rights are required for this feature. You may have to right click on the Keyfinder and run as Administrator.
# Improved Save & Print! - save & print options will now include all keys, not just one.

What's not done yet in 2.0?
# Windows NT Support
# Remote registry support

A note from the author...
Hey everyone! I've been working pretty hard on this release, and I'm pretty proud of it so far... Please email me with your thoughts, suggestions, bug reports, etc. I do manage to read emails sometimes. I apologize if I don't respond to everyone, but I get a ton of friggin email. I work a full time job, have a family, etc... so this release will be completed as time allows. I hope you find it as useful as I do!
