Expedition

1 Game idea
The aim of the game is to gather as many treasures as possible in five expeditions. But on each expedition lurk various dangers. If a danger occurs during an expedition a second time, all expedition members flee and lose all the treasures they collected during this expedition.

2 Gameplay
On an expedition, players can encounter treasures and dangers. If a treasure card has been played, the treasures will be divided equally among all participating players. Supernumerary treasures remain in the treasure card.

Example: If the treasure card shows 17 treasures and 3 players are still in the expedition, each player receives 5 treasures. 2 treasures remain on the treasure card.

If a danger card has been played during an expedition for the first time, the participants can overcome this and the expedition can continue. But occurs the same danger a second time, then the expedition is doomed to failure and the participants flee immediately. In this case, these players lose all the treasures collected during this expedition.

To bring the collected treasures in safety, each player can decide to leave or to continue the expedition, before revealing a new card. When leaving the expedition company, left-behind treasures are collected. Leave several players the expedition at the same time, then the total amount of left-behind treasures is again divided equally and surplus treasures remain on the treasure cards. For these players the in this expedition collected treasures are safe.

Example: On the already played treasure card are a total of 11 treasures. If two players leave the expedition, each player receives 5 treasures and one treasure remains on one of the already played treasure cards.

An expedition is finished when all players have left the expedition or if a danger card has occurred as second time. In this case one of the two danger cards is removed from the game. For the beginning of the next expedition, the cards are reshuffled.

3 End of game
After the fifth expedition, the game is over. Who has now collected the most treasures wins the game.

4 Cards
There are 15 treasure cards with the following values: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 7, 7, 9, 11, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17 From each of the five dangers there are three cards.

5 Handling
With a double click of the left mouse button on one of the figures at the bottom of the screen the expedition may be left (red figure) or continued (green figure). It is also possible to select a figure with a single click of the left mouse button and to perform the selected action with a single click of the right mouse button. The expedition may also be continued by pressing the enter key or left by pressing the backspace key.

When the mouse cursor is positioned a short time on a treasure card, the number of left-behind treasures on this card is displayed. In the round display the sum of the left-behind treasures of all treasure cards is displayed.
