PCBWeb Designer is a free full-featured design tool without restrictions. There’s no limit to the size of your board or the number of components in your design. Your data is never held "captive" as we offer full gerber export.
Our business derives revenue from value-added manufacturing services and throws away traditional software-based license fees.
What Operating System is Supported?
We support all major version of Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1).
Our codebase is architected with other platforms in mind and we plan to support both Mac and Linux as resources permit.

All projects are stored locally for both privacy and performance concerns. We recommend you use a service such as Dropbox or Google Drive to enable backing up of your data and moving your data between systems.

All libraries are stored on our cloud servers.
What file format is used for projects?
All schematic, pcb, and component data is stored in standard XML format so you can easily open and view changes in your design.
