Trial by Spire is a top-down dungeon crawler for Windows

Trial by Spire

Trial by Spire
is a top-down dungeon crawler in which the main character, Shoshanna, a mage from a local fishing village, traverses a legendary and, rumor-has-it, infinite tower filled with dark, creepy rooms, animated skeletons, demons, and a nasty infestation of blood-thirsty spiders.
Armed with a slew of magical spells and her trusty purple staff, Shoshanna will conquer a series of procedurally generated levels and slaughter legions of enemies to advance up the tower, ultimately reaching the heavens and bartering with the gods to save her unborn son, Chad.

Trial by Spire
was developed by Shannon Chen, Leif Foged, and Phil Patti at Northwestern University from November 2011 to June 2012.
A special thanks to all of the artists and content creators who generously released their work through various open source licenses.
